How to Generate SBI ATM pin through the SBI ATM:
One of the most traditional and easy steps of generating a new SBI pin is by visiting your nearest SBI ATM branch and changing the pin mechanically through the machine. The important step for this method is to carry your phone with the registered and link phone number to the ATM branch, for hassle-free OTP verification. Follow the below-mentioned steps to generate the new SBI ATM pin:
First of all, you need to insert your SBI ATM card into the machine.
Wait for the machine to identify and process the card, now a menu with various list buttons will be displayed on the screen.
Select the Pin Generation option from the menu.
Now, you will be asked to enter the 11-digit bank account number, enter it, and then click confirm,
Now, the option to enter your registered phone number will be displayed on the screen, do the provided by entering your phone number, and click confirm.
After few seconds of step 5, an OTP will be sent to the registered number you entered.
Now, enter the received OTP.
After entering the received OTP, follow the above-mentioned instructions and reselect the pin change option from the screen.
Now, enter the new pin you want to set for your debit card.
And then click confirm.

For the SMS pin generation method, you first need to SMS “PIN ABCD EFGH” (note, here ABCD represents last four digits of your debit card number and EFGH represents last four digits of your bank account number).
Now, send the above typed SMS to 567676.
You will then receive an OTP by the bank, you will then have to visit your nearest SBI ATM branch, and then enter this OTP while generating the OTP through your nearest ATM branch. (Note that this OTP will be valid only for 2 days from the day you have received it,)
How to generate SBI ATM pin through calling customer care:
Another to message the automated service is calling the automated customer service for receiving the OTP for the generation of ATM pin, below mentioned are some of the tips you need to follow to generate your SBI ATM pin through the customer care service number.
First of all, you need to call the SBI Customer care number, through any of these toll-free contacts 1800 11 22 11/ 1800 425 3800 or 080-26599990.
Select the language you want to listen the automated instructions by dialing the respective option to the language.
Then follow the automated instructions you hear, and select the ‘ATM and Prepaid Card Services’ option
Now select ‘1’ to generate Green PIN
You will then have to enter your debit card number along with the bank account number.
Once you confirm all the details, you will receive an SMS with one time PIN (OTP), which will be valid for 2 days, during which you can visit any of the SBI ATMs to generate your debit card PIN.
How to generate SBI ATM pin through SBI Net Banking:
If you have an active internet connection, you can then generate the SBI ATM pin through Net Banking, below are the required steps you need to follow to generate your ATM pin.
From the main menu section in the homepage, you will see ‘e-service’ option, a list appears, then click ATM services option.
The ATM card service page will now open, now click ‘ATM PIN generation’ option from the page.
Now, choose any of the given from One Time Password (OTP) mode or User Profile Password for verification.
Now enter the OTP sent to your mobile number, and click the submit, if you choose the latter then enter the profile password and click submit.
Now select various details like, your bank account name, SBI debit card, and then click confirm.
This will then take you to a new page, any enter two desired digits, and click submit.
You will now receive an SMS on with the last two automated digits of your pin.
Now you need to enter the 4-digit ATM pin, the first two digits are the one you choose earlier, and the next two are the one you received on your phone’s message.
You will then receive a new message saying that your ATM pin has be changed successfully.
